CLUB PROFILE

Glengormley &District  sport angling club has been founded in 2006 and has evolved to cater for anglers who want to  find quality angling on and around our coast .The emphasis is on personal achievements during their angling activities , with the club providing a means of sharing and encouraging the above principles .The club supports the work of the N.F.S.A and I.F.S.C and bases their angling activities on both organisations rules . We encourage anglers to abide by a code of conduct that will encourage the protection of the fishing environment by abiding by minimum fish sizes , conservation measures and are opposed  to the exploitation of  undersized fish for the purposes of competition.   The primary interest is of sea angling , however game and coarse angling will be catered for .
